You don't really need 256MB on a GeForce 6600GT. It would hardly ever be able to use all that memory and still run a game at a decent frame rate.

I just bought an Acer AL1916W 19" Widescreen LCD monitor with recommended resolution 1440x900 for about $215, and it runs superbly. It doesn't have DVI input though, if that matters.

Could someone just explain the concept of RAID to me, its advantages, and possibly recommend such a card and hard drives, assuming I want to build a pretty high-end system?
