I just bought retail yesterday, and what do you know, it doesn't work.

The reason I'm posting here rather than in support is because I don't have a T&L card. The demo works perfectly with 3d-Analyse on my Rage 128 Pro (with very nice framerates too), but the game does not.

When I run the game normally, the screen flickers a bit and I get right up to the 'could not find suitable video adapter' message, exactly as it should do. However when I select it with 3d-Analyse, as soon as I click run I get the generic XP illegal operation: "OMFBG.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Here's the 'technical information' about the error report:

AppName: omfbg.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00000010

and it won't let me copy and paste the rest of it ([filtered] xp). It says this file is included:

What do I do (besides buy a T&L card)? In the meantime, looks like it's back to demo for me...

Incidentally I had to enable error reporting to get it to work... Grr...
