Other than that most of us are of the opinion that, short of divine intervention, not much can be done to revive OMFBG, whereas a revival of 2097 would be a big deal (would probably be the second-biggest revival of all on XBLA, only behind SoTN).

It still surprises me when people I had no clue would have known/remembered what 2097 was decide to namedrop it out of nowhere. 2097 on XBLA would be awesome.

Who cares about ramen noodles? go open an offtopic thread or something, for crying out loud. This thread is meant for bitching about Rob not releasing the source code.

Obviously we care about Ramen

Not to mention, if you had seen this forum over the last (heck what is it now... 8 years?) uhm, some many years since it's been around, you might have noticed that the forum is curentlly more serious than it has ever been before.

Yes I know, hard to belive. And it used to be the administrators that shot most the threads off topic.

This is forums.omf.com. Conversation is conversation, be it the revival of OMF:2097, OMF:BG, or the awesomeness of ramen.

Ouch: Adding a few mushrooms is good and easy to do. Or you can replace the seasoning packet altogether for a can of cream of mushroom soup. Cream of chicken works but it's not as good IMO.

Killer Roach: Pot Pies are $0.50 USD around here. Usually if I'm in the market for a quick meal I'll decide between ramen, a pot pie, or a small salad from the grocer's deli. ($3 / lb = <$2 for a good sized salad) But seriously, that couldn't be healthy. It reminds me of the movie "Supersize Me" but with malnutrition instead of horrifying disfiguring life threatening badness.

ew, mushrooms... :0

I thought it was a myth that people actualy ate those... Smile

But yeah, you can do quite a bit with one of those packs of noodles. To say they are bad for you purely from the sodium in the packet is wrong though. In fact if I recall it actually encurages you to substitute it for your own stuff.

I once had to subsist for a week on US$1 pot pies. Now I'll only eat the big meal-in-a-box versions Razz
