Hey, everyone.
I'm interested in high-quality scans of the OMF:2097 box, manual, strategy guide. Are those available anywhere, or could someone kindly make scans of their own materials?
Alternatively I'd also appreciate being able to borrow said materials in order to make high-quality scans, then send them back. Or just buy them outright.
Please get in touch if you can help, thanks. _________________ - Brandon Cobb

I tried making low quality scans (manual/strategy guide) long ago, but abandoned it because I had to borrow a scanner, and it was boring as heck, also, since both are 95% text anyways, I ended up rather just typing it up.
I know there are high quality scans of the Poster online, found it several times.
Unfortunately I never had a box for the game, though I do have the CD cover :)
If no one else has or can make the scans, I probably could do that "eventually", but life is a bit too hectic right now, and I'd have to buy a scanner first. _________________ - Jon Eirik * www.omf2097.com * www.omf2097.com/wiki * www.omf2097.com/chat - https://discord.gg/sT8YU2E <- OMF Discord |

I was probably a little too young at the time OMF: 2097 came out so I only had the freeware version for a long time. However, you can always attempt to reach out to Rob Elam, who was was main developer on the game. He is currently working at Mindwalker Games on a title called Sentinels: https://store.steampowered.com/app/388910/Sentinels/
The situation with OMF:2097 rights are a little iffy though, as the publishing rights belong to Epic Games while the IP belongs to Rob. A long time ago there was an attempt to look for the source for 2097 but it seems to have disappeared into the dustbin of history. I have managed to get the source code from Rob for OMF: BG and have been attempting to get it to build on a modern OS but haven't had any luck thus far. It's a hobby project at this point in time. _________________ I'm not crazy, I'm sanity-challenged.
