that's less a fault of linux than it is a fault of the card companies and their video card drivers. _________________ "Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas." Joseph Stalin

Not like they have a realistic choise investing equally into both OS's would be downright madnes for a company that intends to make profit. _________________

um... what?
so all those hundreds of companies who have linux drivers out are mad to support it? nVidia's drivers have been for the most part really good. Maybe slightly slower on linux, but not bad. In fact, I've seen many test showing linux versions of games to run faster than windows versions of those games. The one that has constantly been an issue is ATI. Their drivers have never been good on linux. _________________ "Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas." Joseph Stalin

No you're stupid if you ignore linux. I said you're stupid if you're distributing the cash equal over Windows and Linux driver development. _________________

ah, I read ya wrong there.
really, if companies would just make their linux drivers open source, there'd be less of a problem with supporting them... then again that opens a whole new can of worms eh? _________________ "Ideas are more powerful than guns.
