HI
I purchased this game for my son. It installed fine and when I try and run I get an error:
"The procedure entry point DdEntry10 could not be located in the dynamic link library DDRAW.dll".
System specs:
XP SP2
AMD K6 450 Mhz
700 + RAM
20 GIG HD
Savage4 Video Card
Thanks

I don't know exactly what that error message means but seeing the system specs I wonder if it would run at all. The cpu is below minimum and I believe the vidcard is also not sufficient I'm afraid. _________________

Indeed, that processor is somewhat deficient for this game. As well, that video card is very deficient for any modern games. The Savage 4 card is directx 6 compatable... which is at least 6 years old. OMF:BG won't run properly on a card without at least directx 8 support.
I believe that the actual error message you get is related to not having a recent version of directx installed. _________________ "Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas." Joseph Stalin

The solution is probobly to purchace a new computer, because I doubt your son will be able to play any modern games at all with those specs. However if you feel it saves you some money you can attempt to buy a modern graphics card, preferably one that will stay modern for another few years, and a major processing speed update.
Though personally, when people tell me they dont have enough this or that to run something, and there are a lot of upgrades needed, I tell them to buy a whole new computer alltogether, so that they dont have to upgrade anything else for a year or two. _________________

ya... I doubt a new video card will cut it when running the game on that system. My brother has a decent enough card in comp with a 733 Mhz processor and the game is still very CPU limited on that. _________________ "Ideas are more powerful than guns. I had GeForce4 on my old 833MHz and I had to run the game in minimal settings to be able to see the SMOOTH animations, not a slide show. _________________
