Ok, I was wondering if there's a way to lock the internet history folder so noone can delete it, or have 2 copies of it, so if ones deleted, the other will still be hidden so I can see what websites people r using on my pc.

Like I said, no practical way. That would probably require custom code to do the copying running in the background at all times. I don't think there are apps that do that.

What about a background app that turns on "Read-Only" for every new file in the history folder?

Helloooo Windows Shadow Copy service.... *blink*.

Of course that will only backup the last X number of changes to the history.... and could get a little expensive on space depending on whatelse is on the same area as the history file... And is also operating system dependant... and assumes you know how to use it....

Other than that, if you are using a professional version of XP or you are using Windows 2000, you can specifically allow file modification in permissions on the history file and then go in and change the special permissions in the advanced tab to revoke the privilege to delete the file. Note that this will not keep them from clearing the file, however as that would be a modify. THey could still manually clear it.

Oh well, there is always the firewall-level log....
