well to help your decision, I have a radeon 9700 pro (128mb) it runs UT2004 full details, with max AI players. at 50-60 fps depending on the map. considering how old the card is, should give you an indication on what to get.

Just about anything can get good framerates in UT2k4... I mean, I tend to run it with 8xAF and 2xAA at 1280x1024. To be honest, though, I think the better example would be how a 9700 Pro does in stuff like, say, Quake 4 or Oblivion. The results aren't pretty Smile

My 9800XT runs Oblivion on all high except shadows and HDR with decent FPS.

well I don't have either of those games, but I do have X3, I can run that at max settings at good frames.

oh, I have tried to run ut2004 on an intel extreme graphics card once... it wasn't pretty Wink
