is it alot of difrens between using ddr2 pc4200 and 8000??

and what is the difrence?:
PC2-8000 2x1024MB 1000MHz. (5.5.5.15)
PC2-8000 2x1024MB 1000MHz. (5.6.6.15)

what does the last part mean?

The numbers at the end are the access times... numbers of clock cycles it takes to access RAM in various situations... row, column, page, and random. You want those numbers to be as low as possible.

As far as the differences between PC2-4200 (DDR2 533MHz) and PC2-8000 (DDR2 1GHz), you're basically trading latency for sheer speed. In nearly all circumstances, the PC2-8000 will win due to the massive addition of bandwidth (not to mention its higher latency numbers oftentimes are nullified by the fact that its clock cycles are so much faster).

Not really. For the situation he's describing, you have to have a processor that won't buckle under the pressure of having so much data going in and out of it. Since the X2 3800 is basically entry level AM2, the difference you will see between the two won't be very big at all.

Not to mention AMD processors tend to value low-latency RAM above all else... for Socket 939 chips, you might be better off with CL2 PC2100 than CL3.5 PC3200. Right now the sweet spot for AM2 chips is low-latency PC2-6400 (DDR2 800 MHz), although, for Intel chips... the faster the RAM, the better.

For the Core 2 Duo, synchronous vs. asynchronous actually comes into play again because of the shorter pipeline.
Article: http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=getarticle&articID=472
I haven't actually read the article though.

For socket 939 AMD chips, memory bandwidth isn't nearly saturated, so neither latency nor bandwidth have much effect on overall system speed unless you're running memory slower than DDR300/PC2400 or so.

You should be able to find some CL4 PC2-6400 modules... although those are probably more expensive.

If that's American dollars, you're paying way too much.

That's probably the price on Corsair's website... said RAM is $154 on Newegg.

Although, for bleeding-edge performance DDR2-800, Mushkin has a new eXtreme Performance RAM kit coming out on Tuesday for $170... two 512MB modules with 4-3-4-10 timings.

For the money, the best deal in that space, IMO, would be OCZ's Platinum memory... 4-5-4-15 timings and a $113.99 price tag.

The best deal at the moment is to go with Intel. That article above says that the performance difference between DDR2 400 and DD2 800 is a whopping 6% gain in performance.
