I'm new there, so I can make mistakes...
I have lots of ideas about new robots, but I don't know how to make them.
Can anyone help me?

The Mod Tools for the game aren't publically avaliable. Aside from that, making HARs is a complex process, and you'd need a very thorough understanding of the mod tools and the game mechanics in order to do so

Not only that but also the ability to make models and uvmaps in 3dsmax.

Can you help me?

My first robots (I made them in Compas 3D):

Hydra- it has an ability to absorb foe's energy. Skills: VIT and DEX
Rhino- has horn, 2 guns and huge power. Skills: STR and ENR
[url=]Scorpion[/url]- claws, chains, acid, et.c.- most complicated. Skills: DEX and ENR

PS: STR is strength, DEX- dexterity, VIT- vitality, ENR- energy.
I have russian game, so I don't know true names of skills.

PPS: Can't upload Scorpion.

What they are trying to say is that to make a Robot in the game, it is alot of work. First of all, you need to have access to the "MOD TOOLS" which is as of yet not finished, and only available for a certain limited bunch commonly refered to as BETA TESTERS. Without it, you can not do anything.

Seccondly, you will be limited to using the "base skeletton/structure/moves" of the existing robots, so every robot will in base be very similar to one of the existing ones in control, manuverability, and movement as well as attacks etc.

Thirdly, you will need to use some 3D program (3Dmax? unfamiliar with this stuff, see one of the others posts.) to create the entire model with all moves etc in full/same quality of existing robots (and I asume you will need the mod tools to actually know exactlly all poses and quirks you would need to get it just right).

After that, its just a butloads of hard work, and trying to tweak things into a playable robot, without having it crash the game, or becoming so wastly overpowered nobody would want to play with it.

If you are still interested, then start pleading to get the mod tools.

For reference, here's how the player stats are worded in English:

Strength (your STR)
Agility (your DEX)
Endurance (your VIT)
Focus (your ENR)

Saying the robots have "skills" in these areas is a bit of a misnomer, since a robot should be able to adapt to any pilot. Of course, some bots lend themselves to certain stats better.

Making a robot is a great endeavor, but a very large one. You'd need to transfer the models from Compas 3D to Max (probably upgrading them along the way), salvage some animations from existing robots or find an animator to help you out, and then get some help on tweaking it to run in the BG environment.

If you persist in this project of attempting to add HARs (Robots) to the game you will only be very very dissapointed

Give up and go home now before you become any more attached to the idea

Mordax is right. Speaking as someone who has more experience with the tools than any non-DE person here, you'll find it very hard, if not impossible, to pull off properly.
