Oddly enough, I still have her on my ICQ - see her pop online from time to time. I haven't actually tried to talk to her though. I'll have to give it a try next time I see her and see if she'll pop onto the boards for a special guest appearance Razz

Hey all. Oddly enough I've still managed to check the forums about once a year or so to see if people are still talking about me. And lo and behold someone did mention me nine months ago. Smile

For those that are interested, here's what I'm up to:

A few of us from college just barely starting an independent studio. http://lumaglyph.com/ We'll be starting by creating a comic book http://hackberryhollow.com/ and from there we'll move up to other things like animation. I'm an illustrator now; I found out that I was better at drawing than at music. Smile I have a blog at http://glenmoyes.blogspot.com/ and my site is at http://glenmoyes.com/

If I start showing up in any IM - I'm forced into talking to people I've spent a long time trying to avoid. I can't *sneeze* in certain directions without being forced into an entire town's worth of bull**** drama. Sadly you and Crusher, the only reasons I do show up in ICQ, have to continue without me. Just know I'm here, I haven't forgotten you.

The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.

Or something like that. I'm almost getting tired of watching people making their "Whoa I remembered to post my once a year post just to state I still live!", but then again, it's not much else to do here nowadays.

And just for fun, and to not fall for my own trap here: Just had my first treatment on my arms, left arm first. And I've been unable to use it at all for the last two days. Wisdom I have learned from this, when the doctor tells you something "hurts like Hlel" hes darn right!

Is it the same problem from like a year or so back? What's exactly wrong with them?

Yup, Repetive Strain Injury, or similar to Tennis Elbow etc. I think some call it carpel syndrome or something similar as well. basically the muscle from the back of my hand up to the elbow, the muscle that is directlly connected to the finger movement. so the more I use my hands/fingers, the more it hurts, and if I use them to much they damage further. lots of fun.

My current treatment was described as a air preassure anvil+hammer into my arm to break up/shatter the damage and the muscle, so the mucle could start regenerating itself from "start" again. Not pleassant, I assure you.

Healing processes for injuries are never fun...

When I tore my hamstring a few years back. The first thing the physiotherapist did was shove his elbow into the tear area, moving it in a circular motion... It was apparently to get the blood from the internal bleeding away from the wound so it could start healing (The piece of muscle that tore was a rather deep muscle (not near the surface))...

For about 4 weeks of treatment, each session started with that.
