Although balance fixxes would make the game more fun so would people playing on servers...

i dont think a patch is coming at all, atleast a balance patch.

if i were in rob shoes i wouldnt even think about it. why balance out a game that sold so little and played by so few when you can spend the time and make something more fun and worth the effort?

I must point out that a general European release has yet to happen, just because it did badly in America doesnt mean it wont be a hit over here

PC Gamer took their review down if I remember right, so at least that obstical is gone

So ... how are they going to afford making patches if they are already out of money. They could just take down this website and finish what they were doing to save a few bucks of what's left from it.

Or they could just continue what they were doing: relaxing, making mod tools and thinking about future plans.

i havent even seen any evidnece for months indicating that theyre still alive and together as a company

Heres evidence:

They posted on the Beta forums before they went on holiday

Now take my word for it, DE is still here, still together, still working on the game and tools, and you will get more stuff if you are patiant enough to wait for it

Now if EA or Valve or some big company like that didnt post on their message board you wouldnt care, why should DE be any different

Of course, DE could stop working to post here, and they can release stuff before its ready for you, but I can garuntee that the former would slow things up and the latter you wouldnt like

Now I've assured you, as someone who has been in contact with DE recently, that they are still there, and still working, so let them work

i didnt say i cared, i didnt say i wanted them to release stuff before its ready, i siad i havent seen any evidence that theyre alive. and its true. and i dont think thats very good support. saying there are companies with even worse support is no excuse. I've seen companies who support their games far better. the impression I've got is they stopped fully caring after the game flopped, they seem to be a lot less attached and involved now than when there was hope
