Nope; thought about it, but realizing I'm probably not able to get that much time off. _________________ Official forum economist. Explodes when thrown.

I didn't even realize such a thing was going on. It'd be a good ride to get from Michigan to Boston, but I know I won't get the time off work nor will it be warm enough for a good ride. I'm afraid I'm stuck. _________________ "The unofficial first person to edit their sig since 2009! Possibly 2008."

For me I think it'd be more accurate to claim that the circumstances preventing me from traveling to the east are the same circumstances preventing me from traveling to the west. Only since I am already quite far east, they must be endured longer.
I do plan on taking RT 66 to the west coast eventually. But later, preferably on something a lot more comfortable than my tiny Honda Shadow. _________________ "The unofficial first person to edit their sig since 2009! Possibly 2008."

That's one hell of a trip from Michigan, though. I have friends in the Seattle area, but it's still a pretty great distance to travel, especially for somebody who grumbles about going to Chicago for concerts _________________ Official forum economist. Explodes when thrown.

malfy: I'd gladly visit the west coast event, but boston is only a 6 hour drive for me, and I have relatives to stay with, so it's a relatively cheap. Plus I know someone I got discounted tickets from
So no one else is going? Tis a shame, t'would be an interesting rendezvous... _________________ "Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas." Joseph Stalin

I've heard of necroposting before but this is insane. That's an 8 year 9 month gap between posts. Are you some kind of bot or something? People who posted in this thread have since had kids and watched them get old enough to go to school in the time between when veryorkish posted and you replied. Posters in the forum have adopted pets and had them grow old and die between that post and your reply. Almost half a billion people have been born and died inbetween those posts - I looked it up. In spite of all this for almost 9 years this thread sat undisturbed and the best post you can make to bring it back is one word and an old school emoticon? Step it up a little. _________________ "The unofficial first person to edit their sig since 2009! Possibly 2008."

It's quite likely it's a bot, given the link it inserted into the quote. _________________
