| Correction: When you get BD'ed, mash jump. You're not in for a huge combo, you're in for one more heavy hit. Yes, it makes BD do more damage, but no, it's not an instant kill combo. |

tbh most of the time if u can see bd coming just turn round it'l block animation and set u up for a combo of your own (provided you can turn back round but a back back jump could start you easy enough).
BD is great because of the evade/combo but its so bugged its a bit risky, I find with some pilots (esp high agil pilots) you miss with bd and simply go through your opponent or it hits them once or twice then they fall over. Same with mantis slide thats annoying as a Miss on both moves sets u up to get combo'ed when you shouldnt be.

back back jump could never work, with WAY too slow, also stop imagining you can turn 180 degrees in 1/10th of a second.
Like robyrt said, mashing jump or things alike is simply the best bet (if your opponent is skilled enough to punish an evade)

back back jump after the bd not before it or between the evade. Besides it was only a theory not suggesting it would really work dont get bd evaded enough to find out what will.

I mostly manage to walk/run away after a bd evade :/
You guys make it sound like it's very hard to do. Or i didn't understand exactly how that break functions :sweat2:

I'm sure vuen will gladly explain the concept of fragmentation and damage resets, while TUF will fill you in on how it is imposible to escape in .2 of a second.

As i said, when a skilled player does it, an unskilled player will always attempts LK, a skilled player may consider Leap when you walk away. And leap will punish that.
