I've been hitting some serious problems with my PC. Recently it's started randomly restarting. I thought it was heat issues so I moved the rig and opened the sides which didn't help. I pulled out all the cards, the ram, the PSU, and cleaned and dusted everything, which didn't help. Then I thought it was my 200gb EXT2 partition that Windows and Linux shares, so I unmounted it on both and that didn't help. My CPU is well within normal temps (~40C) and with everything re-seated I'm certain nothing is loose. The problem seems to be hitting Linux a lot harder than windows.
Any advice? _________________ "The unofficial first person to edit their sig since 2009! Possibly 2008."

My computer sometimes restarts when I play OMF:BG single tournaments.
Maybe reload Windows? _________________ Inventor of 20 robots. |

How many RAM sticks do you have? Restarting problems tend to manifest themselves in one of two things (in my experience): overheating, or bad RAM. If you have 2 sticks, test each one individually and see what happens _________________ WHEE! NEW HOMEPAGE!
