I'm looking for a host. Not some dumb free host, I'm sick of them. I want a real host. I just don't know where to look. I'm willing to part with >= $10 a month (I don't have *that* high of requirements) and paypal. Any sugguestion would be appreciated.

Can be a bitch cos they have typos etc in emails and account info isn't always what they say it is lol but once ur sorted very nice.

If you havent tried it alreaddy, homestead. I dont know how good you are with computers and stuff, but homestead had everything thats needed to put up a simple websight quick.

bah! gnx is cheap and gives a lot - and u US/Canadian ppl get 100MB free space more than us UKppl

Gnx from what I can see seems to be really nice! Cheap and its even got unlimited bandwidth.. not enough for me though Razz

since I've got loads of downloads to host (>300MB - Not WAREZ!

) but it should be enough for Raven since he uses his space mainly for pages and scripts...

however, be careful... since most cheap shared hosting services really love to pack as many users onto a server as possible.. from my experience I've once seen one of these hosts pack 1647 users' accounts onto a single server!! If phreaky contacts me I have my ways of finding out how many people per server Gnx has -_-

Hmmm... actually Raven may not go for them

It's $10 a month, but that's no biggie, I get like 200 megs out of it, and some decent bandwidth (10 gigs a month). More than what I really need, of course the domains are $10 a year.

EDIT: XBot; you're right, I didn't pick them for that. I need a mySQL or at least some database to use. My LINUX has a PostreSQL(whatever the spelling is) database on it, I never bothered to pick up on it.
